Felicitates newly elected  JMC Chairman’s

Jammu: District Jammu West of BJP organized a program at District headquarters to celebrate the 123rd  birth anniversary of great freedom fighter subash Chander Bose. The program was mainly addressed by Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA). The program was organized under the leadership of District President Munish Khajuria. The newly re elected Chairman’s of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) Baldev Singh Billawaria, Jeet Angral & Suraj Padha  were also felicitated during the program. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Bose who is also referred as Netaji was a great leader during freedom struggle and  India will always remain grateful to him for his bravery and indelible contribution to resisting colonialism. He stood up for the progress and well-being of his fellow Indians," he added. He also stated that he will always be remembered as a hero and nation will not forget the sacrifices he has made for our nation. He also stated that everyone particularly youth also consider him as their role model which depicts that how much deep he was inside the hearts of people.

Munish Khajuria said that Netaji is still considered as the most iconic and influential freedom fighters of India. He stated that Bose who is also remembered for his extraordinary leadership skills, is regarded by the world and his ardent admirers as a charismatic orator. He also stated that he was an extraordinary person who has left a positive mark in India’s history. 

Billawaria, Angral and Padha thanked the District team for felicitating them and said that they will work with more zeal and enthusiasm for betterment of Jammu and also promised that their tenure will be full of hard work that will lead JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) to one of the best Municipal Corporations in the  country. They also spoke on life of Subash chander Bose.

Mandal President Keshav Chopra conducted the proceedings of the program and Mandal President Raveesh Mengi presented vote of thanks.
